1) Does ethanol intoxication influence in-hospital mortality in patients with an isolated moderate-severe traumatic brain injury? 2) Does a detectable blood alcohol level (BAL) has an impact on critical care length of stay in these patients? Population: adult patients with a moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. Exposure: ethanol exposure. Outcome: mortality.
