- What is the efficacy of diphencyprone in treating in-transit or other cutaneous melanoma metastases?
- Study Type Included
- Inclusion criteria included randomised control trials (RCTs), single arm observational studies, or case series (ࣙࣙ≥5 patients); adult patients with cutaneously metastatic melanoma; the use of topical DCP and reporting of RR in treated lesions. Conference papers, abstracts only, review articles, editorials, and studies of combination therapy with other treatment modalities will be excluded.
- Condition Being Studied
- Cutaneously metastatic melanoma, defined as ‘satellite’ when within 2cm of the primary tumour and ‘in-transit’ when between 2cm from the tumour and the draining nodal basin.

- Patients with satellite or in-transit metastases of cutaneous melanoma who are 18 years of age or older.

- Historical outcomes reported for other treatment modalities for ITMs such as intralesional immunotherapy (IL-2 or TVEC), isolated limb infusion, electrochemotherapy and systemic immune checkpoint inhibition.

- Response rate (RR) of treated lesions, including complete and partial responses (CR and PR, respectively).
