- Study Type Included
- We will include both parallel-group and cross-over RCTs evaluating the effects of Rosa damascena in treating menstruation-related symptoms. If a multi-publication drew from the same dataset, only the publication with more complete information or findings will include in this review. We will exclude conference papers, theses, letters, comments, short communication, reviews, meta-analyses, and animal studies.

- Studies will include if recruited women of reproductive age that experienced any moderate to severe menstruation-related symptoms during their menstrual cycles.

- Studies will include if administered any products of Rosa damascena (dried buds, dried petals, hips, oil, syrup, extract, juice, rose water, tea, and Gulkand) in forms of either aromatherapy, topical or oral intake in the treatment group versus placebo, no treatment, or conventional treatment in the comparison group. Studies will exclude if administered either other spices of Rosa or Rosa damascena combined with other herbal products
