How do dietary factors impact on the occurrence, outcomes and mortality of kidney diseases?
Study Type Included
The inclusion criteria are as follows: (a) meta-analysis/systematic review and meta-analysis; (b) studies with dietary factors as interventions or exposures ; (c) studies published after 1990 (d) second-level studies based on retrospective studies, cohort studies or randomized controlled trials (RCTs) The exclusion criteria are as follows: (a) studies with high risks of publication bias (b) studies with insufficient samples (population <30) (c) animal experiments, case reports and news reports (d) studies lacking the baseline or the number of the patients included (e) studies without definitions of renal outcomes or clinical remission

patients having not taken the diet/ food/ nutrient supplement described in the article

the occurrence ratio of renal diseases/ exacerbation grade of the disease/ mortality/ clinical outcomes Measures of effect evaluation of the quality assessment and strength of evidence of the studies included/ a summary analysis of all the proofs available
