- Meta-analysis, Systematic review
- Condition Being Studied
- Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder, defined by abnormally elevated blood glucose, resulting from the defects in insulin secretion or insulin resistance in diabetic patients. Chronic hyperglycemia can cause severe damages to various cells or organs, such as the retina, heart, kidney, and blood vessels in diabetic patients. while most fruits and vegetables, as well as dairy products, have a few amounts of chromium 16. Chromium can increase the number and phosphorylation rates of insulin binding receptors and thus facilitated the transportation of glucose into the liver, muscle, and adipose tissue.

- Main Outcome
- lipid profile , HDL, LDL, TG, TC Measures of effect We will report continuous outcomes as mean differences (MD) and standard deviation (SD) that compare outcome data between two intervention groups. And 95% confidence interval (CI) if the outcomes have been measured in the same way across all included studies. In the case the studies assess the same outcome, but are measured in a variety of ways, will use standardized mean difference (SMD) is used as a summary statistic in meta-analysi
