Studies which compared Lost wax technique versus CAD-DAM versus DMLS 5. Single unit or Multi-unit fixed dental Prosthesis EXCLUSION CRITERIA The exclusion criteria included the following: 1. Articles with incomplete data were excluded 2. Case reports, case series, cross-sectional studies, Randomized control trials or animal studies, Reviews & Abstracts 3. Articles in any other language except English. 4. Implant supported prosthesis 5. Studies including techniques other than mentioned in the research question
- Condition Being Studied
- Tooth defect is a common clinical disease in stomatology. As direct metal laser sintering additive technology is becoming an important method for the fabrication of dental restorations, many studies have focused on comparing this technique with the conventional lost wax casting. This review will evaluate the marginal and internal fit of cobalt-chromium copings fabricated by conventional lost wax casting and DMLS technology.
