- Study Type Included
- Inclusion criteria: 1. Randomized clinical trials, randomized controlled trials; 2. Articles in the English language; 3. Full articles. Exclusion criteria: 1. Non-randomized controlled trials, laboratory studies and review will be excluded; 2. Only abstracts will be excluded; 3. Articles in other those in the English language will be excluded.
- Condition Being Studied
- COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by coronavirus globally. The virus is now known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). In March 2020, WHO has declared COVID 19 as pandemic. Symptoms of COVID-19 may appear after 2-14 days of exposure. Symptoms are fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, headache, bodyache, fatigue, etc. Severity of these symptoms can range from very mild to severe and certain medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, severe heart diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc. may increase the risk of severity of COVID-19.

- Inclusion: 1. COVID-19 positive patients. Exclusion: 1. COVID-19 negative patients.

- Intervention
- Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha), Tinospora cordifolia (Giloy) and Ocimum Sanctum (Tulsi) with no restriction on dosage, frequency and duration of treatment.
- Comparator Control
- Inclusion: 1. COVID-19 positive patients who were given standard care. 2. COVID-19 positive patients who were given placebo. Exclusion: 1. COVID-19 negative patients.
- Main Outcome
- Effectiveness of Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha), Tinospora cordifolia (Giloy) and Ocimum Sanctum (Tulsi) on treatment of COVID-19 positive patients. Measures of effect Proportion, risk difference.
