- Condition Being Studied
- Migraine is a common chronic neurovascular disease in clinic, which is characterized by paroxysmal, repeated attacks and difficult recovery. At present, the pathogenesis of migraine has not been fully explained, among which the vascular origin theory, trigeminal neurovascular theory, neurogenic theory and cortical diffusion inhibition theory are all recognized pathogenesis in recent years [10]. Drugs for migraine, such as triptans, ergotamines, calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonists [2, 11], etc., will produce certain toxic side effects and drug resistance after long-term use of these drugs, thus affecting the curative effect and laying a hidden danger for recurrence. As the dominant disease in TCM treatment[12], this disease is indispensable in improving the overall diagnosis and treatment level of this disease. Among them, the author, combining with a large number of literature conclusions, found that the reports of treating migraine with Bupleurum prescription and shaoyang method can prove the curative effect. Therefore, this study takes the literature of Bupleurum analogous prescription for treating migraine as the research report object, and conducts meta-analysis to further clarify the clinical efficacy of treating migraine with this method as the therapeutic principle, so as to provide more reference for clinical treatment and application in the future.
