- Acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy is the most common type of cerebral apoplexy in clinic. The disease is ischemic hypoxic necrosis of brain tissue caused by various reasons of brain tissue blood supply disorders. .The immune response to acute cerebral ischemia is a major factor in stroke pathobiology and outcome. Butylphthalide is a new drug developed by China. Its main active ingredient is extracted from celery seed. Its effect is to increase the number of capillaries in ischemic brain area, improve the blood supply of patients' microcirculation and inhibit the apoptosis of nerve cells. It is mainly used in the treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, and the effect is obvious. Several studies have shown that butylphthalide can reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in the blood of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Systematic evaluation of the neuroprotective effect and safety of butylphthalide on ischemic stroke has been conducted before, but systematic evaluation of the effect of butylphthalide on inflammatory factors in patients with acute ischemic stroke has been rarely reported. Therefore, the aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to focus on effect of butylphthalide on circulating levels of inflammatory markers in patients with acute ischemic stroke.

- Acute ischemic stroke patients treated with anti-ischemic stroke agents combined with butylphthalide injection.

- Anti-ischemic stroke agents, including intravenous thrombolysis, anti-platelet, hypoglycemic, hypotensive, lipid-lowering, oxygen inhalation, improving microcirculation, preventing and treating brain edema, maintaining water and electrolyte balance and nourishing nerve.
- Main Outcome
- Primary outcomes included the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP) or high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (HS-CRP) or Tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) or interleukin-6(IL-6) (mean and standard deviation at baseline and after intervention).
