Title
Efficacy of butylphthalide combined with oxiracetam in the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment: a meta analysis
Review Question
The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of butylphthalide combined with oxiracetam in the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment. P:Patients with vascular cognitive impairment I:butylphthalide combined with oxiracetam C:butylphthalide only or oxiracetam only or routine therapy O:Efficiency, cognitive and life function, biochemical indicators S:meta analysis
Study Type Included
RCT
Condition Being Studied
Vascular cognitive impairment is the second most common cause of dementia after Alzheimer's disease. The mechanism of dementia is still unclear. It is easy to combine other types of dementia on the basis of vascular cognitive impairment. Therefore, active prevention of risk factors and the search for effective drug treatment can benefit patients with vascular disease for a long time
Participant
Inclusion criteria① The study type was clinical randomized controlled study. ② The subjects were in accordance with the diagnosis of vascular cognitive impairment, including vascular dementia and non dementia cognitive impairment caused by acute cerebrovascular disease. ③ Intervention measures: the observation group was treated with butylphthalide combined with oxiracetam, while the control group was treated with butylphthalide alone or oxiracetam alone or conventional medical treatment. ④ Outcome evaluation indicators: efficacy, cognitive function evaluation, life function evaluation, adverse reactions and biochemical indicators. ⑤ There is no limit to languages. Exclusion criteria① Case reports or reviews. ② There were other types of cognitive impairment. ③ Other organic diseases affect outcome indicators. ④ Articles published repeatedly in the same research center.
