- Helicobacter pylori infection has been proved to be the major cause of chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric adenocarcinoma, and gastric mucosa-associated lymphoma. Moreover, H. pylori eradication has become the standard and most widely adopted therapy for curing peptic ulcer disease. The optimal treatment for H. pylori eradication, however, is still unknown.
