This meta-analysis aims to assess the safety of atropine in children with myopia.

Condition Being Studied
Myopia is a worldwide public health issue. It has been predicted that the global prevalence of myopia will show a significant increase, affecting nearly 5 billion people by 2050. Atropine eye drops is an emerging therapy for myopia control. However, most studies have focused on the efficacy of atropine for myopia control with limited studies reported the safety of atropine in children. Therefore, we will investigate the safety of atropine in children with myopia.

Participants were younger than 18 years and definitely diagnosed as myopia
