Review Question
Calcium supplements are thought to be an effective way to prevent osteoporosis and fractures, which are widely used around the world. However, some studies pointed out that calcium intake may increase cardiovascular risk, while others study claimed not. It may due to the different patients with different base line, therefore we aimed to find out the association between calcium supplement and cardiovascular disease by meta-analysis. P: adults. ; I: calcium ; C: placebo ; O: cardiovascular diseases ; S: randomized controlled trials
