性状
本品呈不规则段,长5mm。全体黑褐色。茎方柱形,体轻,质脆,断面焦褐色。叶对生,多已脱落。花冠多脱落,宿萼钟状。略具焦香气,味苦而辛。
炮制
取荆芥段,照炒炭法(通则0213)炒至表面焦黑色,内部焦黄色,喷淋清水少许,熄灭火星,取出,晾干。
贮藏
置阴凉干燥处。
鉴别
本品粉末黑色。外果皮细胞表面观多角形,壁黏液化多不明显,胞腔含棕色物。内果皮石细胞淡棕色,表观垂周壁深波状弯曲,密具纹孔。纤维成束,壁平直或微波状。宿萼表皮细胞垂周壁深波状弯曲。腺鳞头部8细胞,直径95~110μm,柄单细胞。非腺毛1~6细胞,大多具壁疣。
浸出物
照醇溶性浸出物测定法(通则2201)项下的热浸法测定,用70%乙醇作溶剂,不得少于8.0%。
功能与主治
收敛止血。用于便血,崩漏,产后血晕。
性味与归经
辛、涩,微温。归肺、肝经。
用法与用量
5~10g。
