性状

本品略呈扁球形、圆锥形或不规则菱角形，偶呈连珠状，直径0.5～2.8cm。表面棕黄色或黄褐色，有明显的疣状突起和皱纹，偶有圆形凹陷的茎痕，有的一侧或两侧残存细的节间。质坚硬，断面不平坦，淡黄白色，粉性。气微，味苦、微甘，嚼之刺喉。蒸（煮）者断面黄白色或黄棕色，略呈角质样；味微苦、微甘，嚼之不刺喉。

检查

水分不得过14.0%（通则0832第二法）。总灰分不得过7.0%（通则2302）。

炮制

除去杂质。用时捣碎。

贮藏

置干燥处，防蛀。

鉴别

（1）本品横切面：木栓层为数列木栓细胞。皮层稍窄，有分泌道，呈圆形或长圆形，直径32～500μm，周围分泌细胞5～18个。韧皮部分泌道较小。形成层断续可见。木质部导管呈放射状或“V”字形排列；导管类多角形，直径约至76μm；射线宽广。中央有髓。薄壁细胞含淀粉粒，有的含草酸钙簇晶。（2）取本品粉末1g，加甲醇30ml，超声处理40分钟，滤过，滤液蒸干，残渣加水20ml加热使溶解，用水饱和的正丁醇振摇提取3次（20ml、15ml、15ml），合并正丁醇液，蒸干，残渣加甲醇5ml加热使溶解，作为供试品溶液。另取竹节参皂苷Ⅳa对照品、人参皂苷Ro对照品，分别加甲醇制成每1ml各含2mg的溶液，作为对照品溶液。照薄层色谱法（通则0502）试验，吸取上述三种溶液各1μl，分别点于同一硅胶G薄层板上，以正丁醇-乙酸乙酯-甲醇-甲酸-水（5∶10∶0.5∶0.3∶3.5）上层溶液为展开剂，展开，取出，晾干，喷以10%硫酸乙醇溶液，在105℃加热至斑点显色清晰，置紫外光灯（365nm）下检视。供试品色谱中，在与对照品色谱相应的位置上，显相同颜色的荧光斑点。

补肺养阴，祛瘀止痛，止血。用于气阴两虚，烦热口渴，虚劳咳嗽，跌扑损伤，关节痹痛，咳血，吐血，衄血，崩漏，外伤出血。

3～9g。外用适量，研末敷患处。
