羚羊角镑片 取羚羊角，置温水中浸泡，捞出，镑片，干燥。 羚羊角粉 取羚羊角，砸碎，粉碎成细粉。
贮藏
置阴凉干燥处。
鉴别
（1）本品粉末类白色。不规则碎片，近无色，微透明，稍有光泽，小碎片显颗粒性。纵向碎片髓呈长管形，基本角质细胞呈长棱、长条形或裂缝状。横断面碎片少见，髓呈双凸透镜形、椭圆形、类圆形或类三角形，周围有同心性排列的皮层细胞，外侧基本角质细胞呈菱形、长方形或多角形；二类细胞均不含或仅含少数灰色色素颗粒，细胞中央常有一发亮的圆粒或线状物。角塞碎片多呈不规则形，无色，骨空洞呈类圆形、椭圆形，周围骨板环纹清晰可见，间有骨陷窝，骨板间可见放射状骨小管。骨膜碎片少见，淡黄色或棕黄色，胶质纤维束状。 （2）取本品10mg，加变性缓冲液（取盐酸胍573.1g，三羟甲基氨基甲烷121.1g，乙二胺四乙酸0.734g，加水溶解后，加盐酸调节pH值至8.0，用水稀释至1000ml，摇匀，即得）10ml和0.5mol/L 1，4-二硫代-DL-苏糖醇溶液（临用新制）1ml，摇匀，置90℃处理6小时，取出放冷至室温，静置，吸取上清液500μl，加入0.55mol/L碘乙酰胺溶液（临用新制）100μl，混匀，避光反应30分钟，加1%碳酸氢铵溶液定容至5ml，混匀。加胰蛋白酶溶液（取序列分析级胰蛋白酶，加1%碳酸氢铵溶液制成每1μl中含1μg的溶液，临用新制）20μl，摇匀，37℃恒温酶解12小时，放冷，滤过，取续滤液，作为供试品溶液。另取羚羊角对照药材10mg，同法制成对照药材溶液。照高效液相色谱-质谱法（通则0512和通则0431）试验，以十八烷基硅烷键合硅胶为填充剂（色谱柱内径为2.1mm）；以乙腈为流动相A，以0.1%甲酸溶液为流动相B，按下表中的规定进行梯度洗脱；流速为每分钟0.3ml。采用质谱检测器，电喷雾正离子模式（ESI+），进行多反应监测（MRM），选择质荷比（m/z）697.7（三电荷）→1021.5和m/z697.7（三电荷）→1181.5作为检测离子对。取羚羊角对照药材溶液，进样5μl，按上述检测离子对测定的MRM色谱峰的信噪比均应大于3∶1。 吸取供试品溶液5μl，注入高效液相色谱-质谱联用仪，测定。以质荷比（m/z）697.7（三电荷）→1021.5和m/z697.7（三电荷）→1181.5离子对提取的供试品离子流色谱中，应同时呈现与对照药材色谱保留时间一致的色谱峰。
含量测定
总氮量 取本品约0.2g，精密称定，照氮测定法（通则0704第一法）测定，即得。 本品按干燥品计算，含总氮（N）不得少于9.0%。
功能与主治
平肝息风，清肝明目，散血解毒。用于肝风内动，惊痫抽搐，妊娠子痫，高热痉厥，癫痫发狂，头痛眩晕，目赤翳障，温毒发斑，痈肿疮毒。
性味与归经
咸，寒。归肝、心经。
用法与用量
1～3g，宜另煎2小时以上；磨汁或研粉服，每次0.3～0.6g。
